Sacmi de Mexico is a member company of the Sacmi Group, the world’s leading supplier of machines and complete plants to the Ceramics, Beverage & Packaging, Food Processing, Process Controllers and Plastic injection industries.

Established in 1989, Sacmi de Mexico is based in Monterrey, in the State of Nuevo Leon. Initially there were just seven employees; by the time of the construction of the new headquarters – completed in 1994 and officially inaugurated in 1995 – the number of workers had risen to 16.

Prior to 1995 Sacmi de Mexico’s core businesses were ceramics and closures. However, subsequent years saw exponential growth, and today the company has no less than seven separate divisions: ceramics, closures, labelling, filling, packaging, thermoplastic material injection and logistics, the latter two respectively managed under the guidance of Negri Bossi and Italiansped, both Sacmi Group companies.

Today, Sacmi de Mexico’s staff - machine, plant and spare part sales representatives, administration staff and warehouse workers – totals 60. And the company can now count on four branches: the main one at Monterrey, the workshops, warehouses and offices of which occupy 5,000 square metres; the warehouse facility at San Luis Potosi, specifically dedicated to spare parts; and, last but not least, an office in Mexico city.

Sacmi de Mexico’s main strength lies in the speed and punctuality of order management, achieved through the application of cutting-edge software, especially as regards the sale of spare parts. And all the company’s divisions are able to offer a technical assistance service that is as fast as it is effective.
